‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4’s episode 2, titled “In Plain Sight,” is set to feature Ichabod, Jenny, and Diana pursuing a new case that may have witchcraft involved.
The brief synopsis for “In Plain Sight” posted on TV Muse reads, “After a big discovery, Crane (Tom Mison) and Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) struggle with breaking some difficult news to Diana (Janina Gavankar). Meanwhile, the team learns that there may be witchcraft involved in a new case. Can Crane find a way to tell Diana what he knows?”
The promotional photographs posted on Spoilers Guide showed Ichabod, Jenny and Diana coming face to face with menacing witches in an abandoned old house. Unfortunately for Diana, who doesn’t believe in the supernatural, the team will have to tackle a new case involving magic and witchcraft.
Season 4’s premiere, titled "Columbia,” introduced Ichabod’s new partner Diana Thomas, a single mother and former military officer who works for Homeland Security. Ichabod and Jenny were left to cope with Abbie's (Nicole Beharie) tragic death in season 3. This led Ichabod to Washington D.C. to search for a new witness.
According to the recap of episode 1 posted on Yahoo! TV, Diana’s ten year old daughter Molly (Oona Yaffe) seems to have secrets of her own since it was revealed that she has a sketchbook full of drawings of Ichabod. Perhaps Molly is the main protagonist’s second witness after all.
‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 4’s episode 2, titled “In Plain Sight,” is scheduled to air on Fox on January 13, 2017. It was directed by Marc Roskin and written by Bryan Q. Miller. It will be followed by episode 3, titled "Heads of State."
The supernatural drama television series is loosely based on Washington Irving’s short story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” and first premiered on Fox on September 2016. Season 4 premiered on January 6, 2017.
