Selena Gomez recently confirmed she is working on an upcoming album. Now, more details are out as Golden Globes nominee Justin Tranter reveals he will once again collaborate with one of the world’s biggest pop stars.
Following Gomez’s lead, Tranter spoke about the upcoming album while attending the recently held 2018 GLAAD Media Awards. “Well, she did post an Instagram video in the studio that I was in so I think that I am allowed to say yes, I am working with her on her next album,” Tranter told HollywoodLife. “I normally would want to let her announce that but, she did kind of put it out there so I can say yes I am working with her.”
Tranter has worked with Gomez on several music projects in the previous years. He has co-written a long list of songs for the former Disney Channel star in 2015 and 2017. The 38-year-old music artist is also known for being nominated for the 2018 Golden Globes Award for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture, along with Nick Jonas and Nicholas Monson, for the “Ferdinand” soundtrack titled “Home.”

As Tranter mentioned, it was Gomez who first confirmed that she is working on an upcoming album expected to be released this year. The pop star announced the project last month during an Instagram Live video. “I'm just nervous about it, honestly, ‘cause I feel like the next few choices that I'm gonna make are very crucial,” Gomez told fans. “So I'm trying to be really, really diligent and just patient with everything...the album is coming very soon.”
In late February, Gomez released her latest record “I Can’t Get Enough” in collaboration with music artists Benny Blanco, Tainy, and J Balvin. Its official music video was released in March shortly before Gomez confirmed her upcoming album.
