The last few months of 2018 have reportedly been very challenging for Selena Gomez. But she seems to be doing much better now as rumors fly she is preparing to release new songs very soon. But, above all, her health and wellness remain her top priority.
Fans were quite sure Gomez is going to release a new song very soon after J Balvin posted an Instagram photo that features himself, the pop superstar, benny blanco, and Tainy. Rumors were immediately put to rest when J Balvin told Billboard on Wednesday the music collaboration with Gomez “will be out very soon.”
As of this writing, Gomez’s IG Story feed also features a behind-the-scenes image of an apparent photoshoot with J Balvin, benny blanco, and Tainy for the upcoming record “I Can’t Get Enough.” The same post contains a link that lets fans pre-save the song on Apple Music and Spotify but the record will not be available until Feb. 28.
Aside from teasers for her upcoming music projects, Gomez’s social media page also contains previews for her collaborations with the athletic and casual fashion brand Puma. About a week ago, Gomez shared a behind-the-scenes photo taken possibly during a photoshoot for a Puma Sportstyle campaign.
While Gomez seems to be back to working on music and fashion projects, she is still reportedly making her health her priority. Radar Online quotes radio host Kellie Rasberry’s observations, “One thing you can say about Selena is she always made it a priority to get the best care for herself. She did not have a drug or alcohol problem like so many other young stars her age, on the contrary. Her health and wellbeing are top priorities for her.”
Gomez reportedly spent a month in a psychiatric rehab facility following a rumored emotional breakdown triggered by a recurring condition of low white blood cells count. After months of silence on her Instagram page, she greeted fans a Happy New Year last month
“Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges, and growth. It’s always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it’s not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead,” Gomez wrote.
