Selena Gomez has gradually returned to the entertainment scene after choosing to take care of herself in the past several months. Now, it’s been confirmed that she’s going to be attending the prestigious Cannes Film Festival that will take place on May 14 to May 25, TeenVogue reported.
This will be the first time that Selena Gomez will be attending the festival. Her presence is due to her new film “The Dead Don’t Die” making its debut during the gathering. The movie is a classic horror-comedy centered on the rise of zombies at a small town.
Apart from Selena Gomez, the film will star other Hollywood heavyweights such as Bill Murray, Adam, Driver, and Tilda Swinton. So is the “Wolves” singer healthy enough to attend the festival? Judging by her recent appearance during Coachella, it seems that she is.
Selena Gomez surprised the crowd when she stepped on the stage with Cardi B, Ozuna, and DJ Snake to perform the hit single “Taki Taki.” The 26-year-old was oozing with energy as she hypes the crowd up with her captivating vocals.
As for Selena Gomez’s next album, there’s still no news when it will drop. However, there are plenty of hints out there that it might not be too long before it makes its way to the masses. For now, fans of the singer-actor can sink their teeth on her new song “I Can’t Get Enough” and “Anxiety.”
On the romantic side of things, Selena Gomez seems uninterested in dating anyone at the moment as she appears to be focusing more on herself and her career. Her last relationship was with The Weeknd; their romance lasting merely 10 months before the two called it quits. Following that, the “Back To You” singer dropped off the radar for a while and only recently came back to the scene during the aforementioned Coachella performance.
