Selena Gomez recently revealed that she’s currently working on her third album. In an Instagram live post that the singer posted, Gomez revealed that she’s exploring avenues in her own music that she has yet to delve into, Seventeen reported.

“I'm just nervous about it, honestly, because I feel like the next few choices that I'm gonna make are very crucial. So, I'm trying to be very very diligent and just patient with everything,” Selena Gomez said.

In another Instagram post, the “Wolves” singer shared a video where she can be seen having a good time in a studio as she tried to nail a particular section of an unknown single. It’s still unclear how long it will take Selena Gomez to finish the entire album but there are hints that it could come out “very soon.” Her last one came out more than three years ago and nothing new has come out from the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star other than a few select songs here and there.

One of the major reasons why Selena Gomez sort of flew under the radar for a while is her health. A few years ago, Selena Gomez revealed to the world that she’s suffering from Lupus. And since the condition brings with it varying forms of depression and anxiety, the songstress took the time to take care of herself before diving into another project.

This is why seeing Selena Gomez going back into the grind got her fans swelling with excitement as it’s a sign that she’s getting better. Indeed, Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend even managed to turn her battle into a song.

In collaboration with Julia Michaels, the two singers released a single about the mental process of someone going through an anxiety attack. Outside of music, Selena Gomez is making headlines at the moment as she recently won Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Award for favorite Female Voice in an Animated Movie. The film in question is her work in “Hotel Transylvania 3 as she lends her voice to bring Mavis to life once again. This marks the songstress’ 11th KCA award and placing her on top for having won the said award more times than anyone, iHeart reported.
