Selena Gomez 2018: Disney Alum Reportedly Sent a Letter to Justin Bieber After His Engagement to Hailey Baldwin

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez broke up with Justin Bieber not long ago, and although they had been in an on again, off again kind of relationship, this time, no more reconciliation will ever take place as the latter recently got engaged to Hailey Baldwin. The Disney alum was said to be very cool about her ex’s engagement and reportedly, she even sent him a congratulatory letter.

According to Hollywood Life, for Selena Gomez, having found his true love is an amazing thing so she is happy for Justin Bieber. Moreover, although her ex-boyfriend’s engagement to Hailey Baldwin surprised her, she supposedly sent him a letter not just to wish him well on his upcoming marriage but to have a proper closure to their relationship too.

“Selena was initially blindsided by Justin’s wedding plans, but after lots of contemplation realized it’s for the best, and told him so in a letter,” an insider supposedly told HL. “She told pals it gave her enormous closure because it marked the end of a long, painful chapter of her life,” the source added.

Lastly, the publication stated that Selena Gomez does not want to be linked to Justin Bieber forever and she reportedly indicated this in the letter. All that she wants now is to move on with her life, live happily and be not part of the “Love Yourself” singer’s circus anymore.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated on and off for many years since 2012. Their latest reunion happened earlier this year but it also ended fast. Less than three months after his reported split with the former “Wizards of the Waverly Place” star, he reunited with Hailey Baldwin and they announced their engagement just after a few weeks of dating.

Meanwhile, People reported that Selena Gomez’s ex and his fiancee are already planning their wedding. The soon-to-be husband and wife have been spending lots of time together and their families are said to be happy for the two.
