‘Scream’ season 2’s episode 11 is entitled “Heavenly Creatures” and will find Emma and Audrey implicated in the Lakewood’s series of murders after new evidence surfaces.

Episode 11’s official synopsis posted on The Hollywood Hills reads, “In the wake of another murder, Emma and Audrey are going to find themselves as prime suspects when evidence appears that implicates them both in the killing spree.”

The teaser released by MTV opened to Emma (Willa Fitzgerald), Audrey (Bex-Taylor Klaus), and Noah (John Karna) huddled over a newspaper clipping with the headline, “Lakewood Mourns Will Belmont”. They then spot Eli (Sean Grandillo) in the photograph. Emma turns suspicious and asks, “What was Eli doing at Will’s funeral?”

Will was a main character in the series’ first season. He was Emma’s ex-boyfriend and was portrayed on the small screen by Connor Weil. The character was killed by farm equipment. It seems that there’s more to Eli than he’s revealing to people.

By the end of the teaser, Emma and Audrey are seen surrounded by police officers after new evidence places them at the top of the prime suspects list.

In the preceding episode entitled “The Vanishing”, Emma and Audrey fail to rescue Zoe (Kiana Lede) after she and Noah were buried alive in different locations. According to Hollywood Life, Noah is left devastated when they find Zoe’s dead body in the wooded coffin submerged in Wren Lake. The killer then gives the two a call saying that they will never win.

It was also revealed that Audrey teamed up with Piper (Amelia Rose Blaire) unknowingly because she was once in love with Emma. Emma broke her friend’s heart without even being aware of it. Meanwhile, Maggie (Tracy Middendorf) and Sheriff Acosta (Anthony Ruivivar) worried about their secrets and began to suspect that Brandon James may still be alive somewhere.

Eli is then seen watching Maggie from the woods after she stuck a note on a tree for Brandon. The scene fueled speculations that Eli may be connected to Brandon in some way.

‘Scream’ is a slasher horror television series developed by Dan Dworkin, Jay Beattie, and Jill Blotevogel for MTV. The network renewed the show for a second season on July 2015. Season 2’s episode 11 is scheduled to air on August 9, 2016.
