CLEARWATER, Fla., Jan. 07, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Friday, January 29th, the Scientology Public Information Center is hosting a special Open House for attendees of “Blast Friday” activities on Cleveland Street from 5-10pm.
“Blast Friday” is downtown Clearwater’s monthly free concert on Cleveland at Fort Harrison Avenue.
The Scientology Information Center, located at 500 Cleveland Street, will invite guests to peruse audio-visual and informational displays in the center and sample a variety of festival-style refreshments.
“Since opening on July 11th 2015, the Information Center has become a popular visiting spot in the Downtown area with over 6,500 visitors in 2015,” stated Amber Skjelset, the Manager for the Scientology Information Center. “It’s a great place for those who are curious about Scientology to get their questions answered or are just looking for something new to visit while they’re in the area.”
The Center is housed in the lobby of the historic Clearwater Building. It is open for residents and visitors to learn about basic Scientology concepts. The center includes a full biographical display of the life and legacy of L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology’s Founder.
The center hosts a variety of receptions for local groups and organizations. It is open to the general public from 10 am to 10 pm daily for tours, offers and makes its conference room available to social, civic and nonprofit groups.
