“STAR” Season 3 Episode 2 is going to be a tumultuous journey for the characters of the musical drama, especially for Star herself as she goes through her pregnancy. It goes without saying that being pregnant in the musical industry puts a lot of pressure on the mother, more so because of how social media works these days, CarterMatt reported.
Indeed, the synopsis for “STAR” Season 3 Episode 2 is quite telling of this very fact. “When Mateo pulls a shocking stunt to reveal Star’s pregnancy, the social media trolls go wild. Meanwhile, Simone faces a choice between her marriage and career, Carlotta and Cassie continue to battle it out and Maurice and Cassie team up for an unlikely ploy. Then, Derek returns home to find Miss Ruby in trouble.”
One thing that fans can really hone in on and relate to in the synopsis is the coming out of the woodwork of social media trolls. For someone who is trying to build her musical career, Star has a lot to lose if she succumbs to these rabble-rousers. The best she can do in “STAR” Season 3 Episode 2 is to simply ignore the noise generated by the trolls as they want attention above all else.
If she manages it, then Star can now focus on other things moving forward. The title of “STAR” Season 3 Episode 2 is “Who’s the Daddy.” The premiere episode has already made a great job of setting this plot development as the story unfolds on who the mystery father truly is. But apart from the trolls and the unknown father, this installment is going to have the Brown sisters go head to head as they try to take control of Atlanta’s music scene.
“STAR” Season 3 Episode 2 will certainly touch upon this, although this storyline is expected to be an overarching one throughout the whole installment. The next episode will air on Oct. 3, 2018.
