“SEAL Team” season 2 is upping the drama when Bravo Team returns for the upcoming installment. Fans know that the team just recently came from the stressful mission in the Pakistani mountains, which ended in a botched attempt to nab the warlord Abad Halani (Wasim No'mani), but Abad was not the only casualty in the last season's finale.
CBS recently released preview clips for the upcoming “SEAL Team” season 2 premiere episode, titled “Fracture.” According to the episode summary, Bravo Team will be sent to the Gulf of Guinea to rescue American hostages from an oil platform. While the episode's title may seem like a play on words about what kind of work happens on oil platforms, the show's premiere episode will most likely feature other things fracturing when it airs.
The first “SEAL Team” season 2 premiere episode clip features Bravo Team leader Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) coming home to his wife, Alana (Michaela McManus). In the scene, Jason wakes up Alana from the couch which turns into a fight between them as the nature of Jason's work puts pressure on their marriage.
The second preview clip shows a scene between Jason and Ray (Neil Brown Jr.). It seems six months have gone by in “SEAL Team” season 2 since the previous season's finale and Ray has been itching to get back to the field ever since he got his teaching stint due to his bad shoulder. But Jason doesn't trust Ray to be back on the team yet because Ray lying about his shoulder got Abad killed during the operation. With Jason estranged from both his wife and his former second-in-command, fans may have to be worried about Jason's state of mind when he and the rest of Bravo Team get sent into the hostage rescue mission.
Fans looking forward to how the last mission's scars, both emotional and physical, will affect Jason's team of elite operators can catch the “SEAL Team” season 2 premiere episode when it airs tonight, Oct. 3.
