Fans of the show have been waiting for any news about “Rick and Morty” Season 4 for the longest time. Now that voice-over work for the next season has begun, viewers might feel that its premiere is much closer than before. Fans of the creators of the show can also soon enjoy even more work of theirs since they have been teasing details about the show for a while.
In a series of Instagram posts, Dan Harmon revealed that they are finally getting started with the voice-over work and the writing of “Rick and Morty” Season 4. The series creator posted a photo of what appears to be a sound booth with the caption, “First round of recordings. I’m not sure what I’m allowed to take pictures of #insteadofmakingrickandmortyseason4.”
Harmon also uploaded a clip of the writers and art people working on “Rick and Morty” Season 4. Suffice it to say, it’s clear that the show’s creator is being a bit cheeky with the details that he is sharing with fans. The clip even comes with the caption, “Just making sure there aren’t spoilers in this shot like conceptual drawings of Evil Morty in his Evil Pickle Morty Nano-Suit (which can kill half of all Ricks once powered by all 5 poopybuttstones) [SEASON 4 SPOILERS] [[wait do I put the warning before or after the spoiler]].”
Speaking of people behind “Rick and Morty” Season 4 being cheeky, another clip was also uploaded to the YouTube account of Adult Swim, featuring Justin Roiland. Roiland is the voice behind the show’s main characters, and in the video, he shares the secrets to excellent voice-acting performance. Apparently, it’s all about the booze.
This is no surprise, of course, considering that Rick is a severe alcoholic. However, the video really puts a lot of emphasis on how well this fits Roiland’s process.
