Fans waiting for “Rick and Morty” season 4 news may just have the thing to tide them over while the wait for the upcoming installment is still in an indefinite state. Adult Swim recently posted a short animated teaser featuring some of the “Rick and Morty” cast and crew inspired by superheroes on their official Twitter page.

Beth and Summer get their own moment to shine in the trailer while Squanchy is alive and well in his Wolverin-esque feature in the animated short. Snuffles in his robot armor is shown facing off against superhero Rick. Morty's oversized and vengeful left arm that featured in the show's third season also makes a cameo.
The complete lack of context for the new teaser can leave fans speculating on the possibility that one of “Rick and Morty” season 4's plot will be taken from the short video. The most obvious take can be the superhero theme the teaser has featured. Fans shouldn't get their hopes up though as “Rick and Morty” is known for creating content – such as scenes from each season's introduction – that never gets used in the actual episodes.
For fans who are not satisfied by the animated short posted by Adult Swim and the lack of “Rick and Morty” season 4 news, “The Rick and Morty Musical Ricksperience” will be performing at the Adult Swim Music Festival. The Ricksperience will feature the music of composer Ryan Elder, and guest stars who will bring the music of “Rick and Morty” to a live audience.

Fans who are hoping for news about “Rick and Morty” season 4 may have to wait a bit longer for more concrete news. While the show was recently renewed for at least 70 more episodes, Adult Swim nor any of the show's creators (Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon) have made any official statements about the upcoming installment's status.
