Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently returned from their six-week holiday in Canada. However, reports have circulated that the royal couple may have called it quits for a while and have been separated for over two months.
Even though the pair look as happily in love as ever, rumors about an impending divorce or at least the longevity of their marriage has been questioned by many. New Idea reports that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may have decided to split up, after having constantly struggled under the royal spotlight as a couple. It was all the way back at the couple’s engagement during the WellChild Awards in London in October of last year. At one point during the event, Meghan was reportedly seen walking away from her husband, who looked stressed and upset. A disagreement between the couple? It appears to be so.
However, it seemed to be the moment that started their alleged decision to secretly go their separate ways. According to an insider, the Duke of Sussex is trying to do everything he could to save their marriage. Another insider reveals that the couple has had it hard, especially Meghan, as now that they have a son, Archie, the couple is having difficulty coping with the pressure. The report goes on to say that the Duke and Duchess did not spend time together while on their break in Canada as well.
On the contrary, Gossip Cop has refuted these rumors. Other reports have also refuted the rumors. The report from Express reveals that shortly after their interview from their royal tour in Africa, the couple did admit to having difficulty being under the royal spotlight, and the Queen permitted them to take a break from their royal duties. This is why Harry and Meghan were not seen attending the royal events that occurred during the Christmas holidays.
Now that they have returned from their holiday, Harry and Meghan have announced their first royal engagement. They will be paying a visit to the High Commissioner to the UK, Janice Charette, and her staff. Their visit to Canada House is the royals’ way of saying thank you to the warm welcome they received during their stay.
