Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been rumored to be considering leaving the U.K. and live in the U.S. instead. Based on the reports the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are totally bruised and scarred from the tirades and criticisms hurled against them throughout the year.
According to The Times, the prince and his wife want to take some time off from their royal duties and they will be staying in California. However, some royal observers are saying that the couple may be making their first move with the intention of leaving their royal life for good.
Harry and Meghan revealed their struggles due to harsh media scrutiny
Prince Harry and Meghan welcome their firstborn, Archie Harrison Mountbatten in May, the members of the press have been harsh on them. They were slammed for refusing to show their son to the public and bashing become even more harsher when their son was about to be baptized. The couple was also famously scrutinized for flying via a private jet on their way to an island to celebrate the duchess’ birthday.
During their recent trip to Africa, the pair somehow redeemed themselves by being a darling throughout the tour. They also allowed Archie to be photographed and they even brought him to an official visit to the retired Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his wife at their foundation in Cape Town.
However, a documentary covering their African tour was released last week and Harry and Meghan opened up about their struggles to cope with the royal life because they are constantly put in the spotlight. The former “Suits” actress confessed she did her best to adjust but she realized it was not enough.
"I've said for a long time to H - that's what I call him - it is not enough to just survive something, right? The Sun quoted the duchess as saying. "That's not the point of life. You've got to thrive. You've got to feel happy and I think I really tried to adopt this British sensibility of a stiff upper lip. I tried, I really tried."
