It would seem that former Park Yoochun girlfriend Hwana Hana has decided to throw her former beau under the bus by testifying against him. With the charges being as serious as drug use in a country that can be quite severe about such crimes, though, such an eventuality is only natural. As a result, the actor is now banned from leaving the country by any means in case he tries to flee.
As Korea Boo reports, the details of this new Park Yoochun story are quite nerve-racking, with the police supposedly finding evidence that he did do drugs with his former girlfriend. Even after the two had already split, it was indicated that they still met frequently to consume illegal substances. The actor had previously held a press conference on the matter, stating that he committed no crimes.
“I have never done drugs. I was very scared to see that Hwang Hana pointed out there was another celebrity involved in her drug investigation and recommended the drug to her, and that people would point out that the celebrity was me. I have never done drugs but I am afraid that I am going to be labeled as a druggie. The fear of no matter how much I squirm and say it’s not me, people would run and think it was me came to mind. But because I have never done drugs, I thought that I would go to the investigation agencies and tell them I would be willing to be investigated,” he said during the press conference.
Despite his denial, however, it was still officially declared that Park Yoochun would be denied from leaving the country due to the charge. This should work out well if what he said about his willingness to be investigated is true. After all, why would he need to leave the country if he was innocent?
