PlayStation 5 restock is become a little bit more frequent over the last few weeks, and the new-generation console is expected to be available in more retailers. This week, Target is highly anticipated to have PS5 restock while a retailer in the United Kingdom is introducing new rules to ward off scalpers.
Where to find PS5 restock this week
It is still impossible to walk into a retailer’s physical location and purchase a PS5, so gamers around the world are mostly relying on buying the console online. Luckily, there are ways to follow updates on PS5 restock and which retailers are going to have new supplies.
For this week, Tech Radar’s Matt Swider reports that Target is very likely to have a PS5 restock for customers in the United States on Thursday, March 11. Note that the information comes from inside sources who work for the retailer and that Swider has been reliable when it comes to early notifications of upcoming drops.
As usual, Target does not announce beforehand when the PS5 restock is going live, so fans will have to rely on previous patterns to determine the most likely time when the new supplies will go on sale. Swider advises that potential buyers wait by the Target website in the morning of March 11.
Swider notes further that the last Target PS5 restock became available at 7:47 a.m. ET / 4:47 a.m. PT, so this is one thing to consider for gaming fans looking to make a purchase. It was also observed in previous drops that the retailer’s website tends to display an “out of stock” notice, but buyers are advised not to quit immediately.

There have been instances where the console became available again after a few minutes and after refreshing the website several times. It is always a good practice to stay logged in on Target’s or any retailer’s online store to avoid any delays. It will also be a huge help to keep checking Swider’s and other PS5 restock pages on Twitter for real-time updates on the console’s availability.
UK retailer is hoping to keep the scalpers off of PS5 bundle restock
DualShockers reported that the UK-based retailer Gamebyte has sent an email to its customers stating that “limited stock bundles” of the PS5 disc and digital versions will be available “very soon.” Before the drop happens, the company announced that it is implementing a one-per-person rule once the supplies go on sale.
“We’re not fans of genuine gamers missing out, so as a way for us to combat bots/scalpers we’ll be limiting the bundles to one per-person,” Gamebyte added. This should be a welcome change as scalpers and the use of bots have made it even harder for real buyers to get PS5.
