PLANO, Texas, Jan. 31, 2018 -- Hundreds of attendees will gather in Palm Springs, California for the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute’s (PBMI’s) 23rd Annual Drug Benefit Conference March 5-7. This event is the industry’s only educational conference specializing in issues that impact drug cost management trends and draws a diverse range of key decision makers from employers, health plans, government entities, and academia who are interested in the latest events revolutionizing the drug cost management industry.
Attendees will hear from industry experts about the future of pharmacy benefits and how it will impact overall healthcare decisions. To start the event, Adam J. Fein, PhD, President, Pembroke Consulting, Inc. will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Fein is one of the country's foremost experts on pharmaceutical economics and the drug distribution system and will kick off the event with a presentation on the “Outlook for Pharmacy Benefit Management: Evolution or Disruption?
“For 23 years PBMI has provided this truly educational venue to benefit decision makers and thought leaders interested in learning more about the drug cost management industry,” says Jane Lutz, Executive Director of PBMI. “We’ve expanded the conference this year to have four educational tracks with more than 50 speakers, as well as having several opportunities for attendees to network with peers from the industry.”
