According to Windows Report. Sora, OpenAI's groundbreaking text-to-video model, debuted in mid-February, sparking widespread interest. This AI marvel has the potential to craft breathtaking videos from simple text prompts, a feature that has yet to be unveiled for public use.
When asked about the data OpenAI used to train Sora, Murati said, "We use publicly available data and licensed data."
Sora's training data source and Murati's responses needed to be more convincing. She said, "I am not sure about that, and I will not go into the details about the data used."
OpenAI never misses an opportunity to showcase demo videos created with Sora AI, which appears to have set high standards for video quality.
As the world eagerly awaits Sora's public debut, CTO Murati shared some insights. She revealed that creating a 20-second 720p video clip could take a few minutes, depending on the complexity of the text prompts. While no specific date was mentioned, Murati hinted that Sora will be available to the public later this year, fueling the anticipation.
Although OpenAI's CTO appeared to dodge questions about Sora's training data, she praised the text-to-video AI model's ability to generate hyperrealistic, beautiful, and highly detailed videos.
