‘One Punch Man’ Season 3 release date, spoilers: A brief overview of events after the finale’s conclusion

“One Punch Man” Season 3 will have the Hero Association and the Monster Association battle it out, with Saitama once again caught in the middle of the twister. The third installment will have plenty of fight scenes yet again but not on the get-go.

This isn’t surprising given that Saitama, Bang, Genos, and the rest of their little group faced a tremendous amount of struggle in the recent finale. Thus, “One Punch Man” Season 3 might start off with a bit of recuperating on the protagonist’s part, barring only Cape Baldy.

No sense urgency for Saitama’s group in One Punch Man Season 3

Indeed, the third entry might start off at Saitama’s apartment where Genos can be seen repairing himself, while Bang is being treated with acupuncture needles by Bomb. Following that, Fubuki will show up to the residence and tried to convince everyone there to join the Blizzard faction. Unfortunately, no heroes are interested and simply brushes her off as Saitama and King play what appears to be a “Pokemon” on a Gameboy. “One Punch Man” Season 3 will also highlight the threat that the Monster Association brings.

Mr. Narinki, the wealthy businessman whose son has been taken captive, will breathe down the Hero Association’s neck to spur them into action. The organization assures the worried father that they’re doing everything they can to track down the monster’s hideout, tasking Child Emperor for the part. However, Child Emperor will admit to himself that his expertise may not be enough to pinpoint the exact location and contacts Metal Knight. But Metal Knight refuses to fork over the information as he believes it’ll only be a suicide mission. “One Punch Man” Season 3 will then have the Hero Association assemble their own squad equipped with what Narinki said as state of the art armors and weapons.

One Punch Man Season 3 brings Garou face to face with Gyoro Gyoro

Meanwhile, Puri Puri Prisoner will be returning to the prison yard to deal with the cat-like monster that has taken the prisoners and turn them into monsters. As for Garou, he’ll find himself waking up to an unfamiliar bed in unfamiliar grounds. He’ll soon find out that he’s amidst the monsters and will eventually meet Gyoro Gryoro, the tactician of the antagonists. The monster will take a special interest in Garou as it specializes with the limiter concept. With regards to the release date of “One Punch Man” Season 3, nothing has been announced so far.

More information about the third entry will make its way after October, the month in which the DVD/Blue Ray box sets of the second installment will be available for purchase. Thus, the fate of “One Punch Man” Season 3 will be relying on the box sets’ sales performance. Having said all of these, it’s likely that the third season won’t come out this year and will probably land somewhere in the second quarter of 2020. If things go smoothly, that is.
