It is a well-known fact among fans of “One Punch Man” that Saitama is the single strongest human in the show’s universe. Not even an interstellar invader capable of wiping out entire civilizations could make the bald protagonist take him seriously. Will this finally change in “One Punch Man” Season 2 with a monster specifically engineered to be unbeatable?
There is no denying that “One Punch Man” has had a profound effect on the anime industry and even in the greater pop culture realm. As Comic Book recently reported, one character from the series might have inspired a fighter in “Apex Legends.” However, there is only so much that can be squeezed out of the current storyline, which makes a change of pace necessary in “One Punch Man” Season 2.
Much like Boros posed a potential threat to Saitama in the first season, there needs to be another enemy in “One Punch Man” Season 2 that could put a scratch on the invincible hero. This could be where the monster that will potentially be featured in the second season will come in.
Named Orochi, this mysterious being has yet to show off its true power in the “One Punch Man” manga. This could mean that it won’t play that big of a role in “One Punch Man” Season 2. On that note, it is always possible for its power to be displayed even as the focus is on the upcoming villain, Garou. The former apprentice of Bang is expected to have a connection to Orochi and the monsters in the next season.
Fans will find out whether or not Saitama and Orochi will square off in “One Punch Man” Season 2 when the new season premieres on April. Viewers might want to buckle up for another wild ride with the Caped Baldy himself.
