“One Punch Man” Season 2 is the long-awaited return of the Caped Baldy, with the second season set to air next year. The first season treated fans to some of the greatest fight scenes to have ever been conceived and this is expected to be the case in the next one. However, fans should expect that Saitama will not be appearing much in “One Punch Man” Season 2. For those who have not been caught up with this anime, the dubbed version of the first season is now on Netflix, but it’s just for Canadians.
In a rather odd turn of events, the first season of “One Punch Man” with English voice actors has been added to Netflix. However, it’s only accessible to viewers living in Canada, Comicbook.com reports. Those in the US can still use HULU for their viewing pleasure if they don’t like reading subtitles. At least this prepares viewers for the events of “One Punch Man” Season 2.
For the most part, “One Punch Man” Season 2 fixes the issue of Saitama being literally the most powerful being in the universe by essentially sidelining him. The focus in the next season will be on other heroes and their fight against a new villain in Garou. While certainly powerful enough to take on several super-powered individuals at once with his martial arts skills, he just won’t be a match against Caped Baldy.
Fans will see this for themselves when the two unwittingly meet at some point and Garou ends up punched through a wall. In the manga, it didn’t even seem as if Saitama noticed the exchange. “One Punch Man” Season 2 might feature this scene, but there might not be enough time.
“One Punch Man” Season 2 is set to air on April 2019. JAM Project will still be responsible for the opening theme, Crunchyroll reports, and it’s likely going to be epic.
