It is just two chapters away before “One Piece” marks its 1,000th episode! The upcoming chapter 998 will be full of one on one fights among the main characters and it will surely be intense since it is hard to predict which side is actually winning.
Most of the Straw Hat Pirates and their allies are on the battleground now but Kaido showed how powerful he can be by making a big move. He just uprooted Onigashima from its location and bringing it to the Flower Capital to be part of Wano county.

Previously, in “One Piece” chapter 997, Kaido was moving the Onishashima island to the Flower Capital. It can be said that the villain is planning to conquer Wano now before Luffy and his group do. He is also preventing Momonosuke from being declared as the new Shogun of Wano County.
In any case, Sanji was tricked by Black Maria and he fell into her trap. Black Maria staged a scene that made Sanji rescue her from supposed attackers and he ended up being caught in a web. Now, the two are expected to fight.
Jinbe was with Luffy and they were heading to the rooftop where Kaido and the nine scabbards are involved in a showdown. Big Mom also made her way to the rooftop because she said she wanted to be where Kaido is.
Elsewhere, Yamato is still on the run with Shinobu and Momo who she is protecting. Franky appeared at the right time and helped Yamato and Momo to run away from the Beast Pirates. Franky was forced to fight Sasaki so that the trio could escape and the fight is going all-out.
Aside from the battle between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Tobi Roppo, One Piece Chapter 998 will also show other interesting scenes. These include X Drake completely knocking out Scratchmen Apoo and former Whitebeard Pirates' first-division commander Marco the Phoenix using his devil fruit ability to stop the spread of the virus created by Queen the Plague. It will also feature Yamato with a statue of a broken dragon. Yamato will reveal that his friend, Portgas D. Ace, attempted to kill his father, Emperor Kaido when he visited the Land of Wano.

Jinbe and Who's Who will also be facing each other in one on one battle. Moreover, Yamato finds a statue of a beaten dragon and it was said that Ace broke it even if Yamato said it was a friend who ruined it then Ace suddenly appeared.
There is a prediction that Kaido will move Onigashima where Oden's castle stands. Meanwhile, as per VIZ Media, “One Piece” chapter 998 is set to be released on Dec. 13.
