The next episode of “One Piece” which is chapter 990 is coming up this week and before that the spoilers are already out. The raw scans have been released so avid fans were able to translate the events in the upcoming story.
As posted, there the Straw Hat Pirates will have a new ally as another memorable character has shown up in “One Piece” chapter 990. At the moment, the war in Onigashima is ongoing and even Kaido is also fighting on the battleground.
Spoilers - Luffy’s new allies
On Reddit’s spoilers discussion page for “One Piece” chapter 990, it was revealed that this story has been titled “Isolated force.” The sub-title teased that Who’s Who and Queen want to kill someone and it is part of the Tobi Roppo.
They want to eliminate X Drake and it turned out that they found him to be the traitor in their team. They realized he betrayed the Beast Pirates when he helped Law escape. He actually freed him and Queen learned about this.
When Who’s Who and Queen try to kill X Drake, the traitor thought that it will be his end but then he saw Luffy and went up to him. He helped the leader of Straw Hats with fighting Numbers and later he declared that he has removed himself from Kaido’s group and would like to join forces with him.
Luffy was surprised but it was teased that in “One Piece” chapter 990 that X Drake will be one of Straw Hat’s new allies. At any rate, Hawkins, Marco and Perespero will also appear in this chapter.
Kaido and the Minks
The Minks are in their Sulong form and they are attacking Kaido and his men really hard. In fact, Kaido gets surprised at how strong they are because he couldn’t explain how their attacks are affecting him since he was supposed to be “untouchable” and super strong.
Jack managed to injure some Minks so Inuarashi and Nekomamushi step up to protect them from the villain’s attacks. Now Jack appeared to be intimidated by the two in “One Piece” chapter 990.
Luffy also transforms into Gear 4 in this episode. With his appearance after the transformation, Hyogoro thinks he looks like Myo-o.
Release date
“One Piece” chapter 990 is set to be released on Sept. 14, as per One Piece Fandom. Fans should take note that there will be another break after this so the 991st story will arrive in the fourth week of this month
