“One Piece” chapter 983 is going to be a much-awaited installment simply because of the many fights set up in the latest installment. Fans are likely hoping the next chapter would pick from Luffy’s surprise encounter with two members of the Tobi Roppo, Ulti, and Page One.

The hype around the imminent fight between Luffy and the two Flying Six members is very understandable considering the mystery the surrounds the latter. It can be recalled that the Tobi Roppo was just introduced a few chapters ago, and fans are practically clueless about what they can do and what their powers are. If “One Piece” chapter 983 included Luffy’s fight with these two opponents, the manga would finally reveal just how much of a threat are the members of the Flying Six.
In the power rankings of the Beasts Pirates crew, the Topi Roppo is placed on the top third spot of the hierarchy below the All-Stars. This should provide some clues on how Luffy’s fight with Ulti and Page One would go down in “One Piece” chapter 983. Luffy stands a very good chance at winning, but the element of surprise of Ulti and Page One’s abilities might not make this an easy scuffle for the Straw Hats captain.
It should also be noted that Kyoshiro (aka Denjiro) easily neutralized another Tobi Roppo, Sasaki, in chapter 982. This could be a foreshadowing that in the installments starting in “One Piece” chapter 983, the alliance would take down the members of Tobi Roppo one by one. The question that remains now is whether or not Luffy can take down Ulti and Page One by himself and finish the fight unscathed.
‘One Piece’ chapter 983 release date: Where to read the official English translation
The great news is manga fans will no longer have to wait two weeks before seeing the next set of fights in Onigashima. It can be recalled that the manga series released new chapters every two weeks in the previous months due to COVID-19, but “One Piece” chapter 983 is going to be the second installment that arrives in just a week.
“One Piece” chapter 983 will be released on June 21. Official English translations will be available for free on Manga Plus and Viz Media’s Shonen Jump.
