The much-awaited “One Piece” chapter 1,000 has been leaked way before its official release date. It reveals that Luffy will unleash a new technique that will easily knock down Kaido.
‘One Piece’ chapter 1,000 is rightfully titled ‘Straw Hat Luffy’
Fans have been anticipating the release of “One Piece” chapter 1,000 and may have already had a list of things they wish would happen in the milestone of the manga series. The chapter does not contain an explosive character reveal or a flashback to Big Mom and Kaido’s previous adventures. But it has the right balance of flashbacks with Ace and a prediction of the pirate world’s future as written by Oden two decades ago.
Rough translations of “One Piece” chapter 1,000 indicate that it is fittingly titled “Straw Hat Luffy,” after the main protagonist. The biggest highlights focus on Luffy’s resolve in becoming the future Pirate King, and to do he has to defeat Big Mom and Kaido.
Luffy reaches the top floor where Big Mom and Kaido are, who will immediately make fun of the Straw Hats captain for always declaring he will become the Pirate King. After asking Law to transfer the heavily injured Red Scabbards below the castle, Kaido charges at Luffy with his spiked kanabo. This is the point in “One Piece” chapter 1,000 where Luffy activates Gear Third and an all-new attack reportedly called “Gomu Gomu no Red Roc.”
Luffy and Kaido’s fight is brief in “One Piece” chapter 1,000, but it was enough to establish just how stronger Luffy has become before this encounter. One of the last panels shows Big Mom looking worried because Kaido was knocked down with just a single punch of Luffy’s new technique.
Yamato reveals Oden’s prediction of the ‘Worst Generation’
The leaks also show there will be several panels dedicated to a brief flashback with Yamato and Ace. In the present, Yamato tells Momonosuke some of the most important things they learned from Oden’s journal, which they found even before meeting Ace.
Yamato reveals in “One Piece” chapter 1,000 that Oden had predicted that 20 years after writing his journal that a new breed of pirates will arrive in the New Age. Brilliantly, series creator Eiichiro Oda has chosen Worst Generation pirates to join Luffy at the top floor against Big Mom and Kaido, namely Law, Kid, Zoro, and Killer, as if agreeing to what Yamato is telling Momonosuke in another part of the castle.
