Many “One Piece” fans are familiar with how the current pirate age was launched by the death of Gol D Roger, who once held the title of Pirate King. However, in the “One Piece” Movie 2019 that is currently in the works, Luffy and his crew will be dealing with a force that precedes even him. These opponents harken back to a time when The Grand Line was a far more lawless place than it even is in the modern age.
Details about the “One Piece” Movie 2019 were supposed to have been released this week but it seems that fans will have to wait a while more for more information to be provided. For now, those who are curious about the anime film will have to content themselves with what has been revealed, so far. To start with, the Straw Hats will be dealing with a pirate gang that is apparently referred to as Rocks.
Whether or not there is any other title connected to that one word is currently not known. As such, it would be safe to assume that the main antagonists in the “One Piece” Movie 2019 will be called Rocks. As to what their particular traits will be, it can be dangerous to assume anything with a movie from a franchise as weird as this one. However, it can also safely be assumed that the crew will be composed of very odd people.
With regards to their background, it would seem that they ruled the seas some 40 years prior to Luffy setting off to destabilize the entire world. After a mysterious event occurred that supposedly led to the death of their captain, the crew of Rocks faded into a distant memory. That is until they come up against the Straw Hats in the “One Piece” Movie 2019 that is expected to premiere late next year.
