“One Piece” chapter 924 is expected to be one of the most interesting installments in the Wano arc. It picks up from an intense battle between Kaido and Luffy which left the latter in really bad shape.
Chapter 923 ended with Luffy suffering a throbbing pain and a bloodied head, having been knocked out unconscious after just a single strike from Kaido. With the Straw Hats captain in this state, Zoro is one of the most likely heroes to emerge in “One Piece” chapter 924.
Since he got lost on the way to Oden Castle, Zoro has not been reunited with his friends. But after Kaido paraded his dragon form in the skies of Wano, chances are Zoro saw him and has since started to move towards Okobore town and could arrive there in “One Piece” chapter 924.
When it comes to fighting enemies, Zoro and Luffy frequently have the same attack-first-plan-later mindset. But the samurai will most likely act with more patience in “One Piece” chapter 924 after seeing what Kaido did to Luffy. The downed captain will likely need time to recover, which also puts Zoro in charge of checking up on the other Straw Hats who were attacked by Kaido while evacuating from Oden Castle.
Meanwhile, there is also a big possibility that “One Piece” chapter 924 will continue focusing on Luffy’s fate. Law is wise enough to know that fighting Kaido alone will not help and Zoro might be preoccupied with tending to the other Straw Hats. This means Luffy could be all alone when the story continues.
With no one to save him and without the ample strength to continue fighting, Luffy could be heading to Kaido’s prison in “One Piece” chapter 924. In this case, there is a great chance that Luffy will be meeting Eustass Kid in the Wano arc. Kid can be a strong addition to the alliance against Kaido so bringing him back in this part of the series somehow makes sense.
There is also a possibility that “One Piece” chapter 924 will focus on giving updates on the execution of Kin’emon’s plans. There is so much to learn about this aspect, including their reunion with Inuarashi and Nekomamushi. In chapter 921, Kin’emon stressed the importance of finding the three samurai namely Kawamatsu, Denjiro, and Ashura Doji — this is yet to be revisited in the Wano arc as well.
At the moment, Luffy’s only chance to escape prison is if Law finds a way to escape with the Straw Hats captain in tow without having to fight Kaido. “One Piece” chapter 924 is slated to be released on Monday, Nov. 12.
