Klang will be responsible for developing new markets for the innovative Osprey PowerPlatform solar racking system and its proprietary earth anchor foundation system. The new market opportunities span both geography and industry, and include global mining, emergency response and disaster preparedness, and tactical microgrid deployments. In pursuit of these new markets, Klang will also spearhead Osprey channel development and strategy.
“I am extremely excited about the potential the Osprey has to disrupt the status quo and create new markets in ground mount solar,” said Klang. “I also see opportunities to expand Nuance Energy’s marketshare in traditional commercial and small utility applications.” Klang was attracted to Nuance Energy based on the Osprey PowerPlatform’s modular scalability, industry-leading affordability and breakthrough ease of installation in virtually any type of soil.
“We were fortunate to find someone with the experience Gregg has,” said Brian C. Boguess, Nuance Energy co-founder and CEO. “Our growth is currently limited only by our ability to meet the increasing demand for the Osprey across the U.S. and abroad, and Gregg’s expertise in business development and go-to-market strategic planning will help us meet that demand, while continuing to revolutionize the solar industry. With the Osprey, there is an incredible opportunity to build brand awareness and establish distribution in underserved markets, and Gregg will be key to making that happen.”
