Nike Revives Kobe 8 Protro Team Bank Collection in New Colors, Launching September 6th
Kobe Bryant’s Nike Kobe 8 Protro TB (Team Bank) collection is confirmed to be released on Nike.com on September 6th.
Throughout his illustrious NBA career, his dedication to youth basketball and storytelling post-retirement, and even in the years following his tragic passing, the Black Mamba's legacy remains a powerful symbol of the relentless pursuit of excellence. The "Mamba Mentality" continues to inspire a new generation of athletes and creatives, carrying forward the unfinished story Kobe left behind.
According to Sneaker News, Nike Kobe Protros are highly sought after by basketball enthusiasts. Nike is responding to this demand by reintroducing the Team Bank color options for the Nike Kobe signature line—the first such release since the Kobe 5 in the 2010s.
The upcoming Kobe 8 Protro will be available in team-friendly colors, including Navy/White, Red/White, and Grey/White, along with two Lakers-themed Home and Away configurations. The updated Kobe 8 Protro features React Foam drop-in soles, Engineered Mesh uppers, and a redesigned tongue.
The complete set of Team Bank colorways will be available on Nike.com, and select Nike Basketball retailers will be available on September 6, priced at $180 each for adult sizes.
Nike Air Max 90 LV8 Returns in Sleek 'Black/Gum' Colorway, Exclusive to Women This Fall
The Nike Air Max 90 LV8 continues to command attention, with Nike putting considerable focus on this model. The latest iteration brings back one of Nike’s most reliable colorways.
Dominated by a “Triple Black” aesthetic, this pair features a sleek design, plush mudguard, synthetic forefoot panels, and a double-stacked Air unit in the midsole. The gum sole adds a touch of classic style and Nike SB-inspired flair to this otherwise modern design.
Exclusively designed for women, the Nike Air Max 90 LV8 in the “Black/Gum” colorway will be released this Fall for $150.
