Rolling Stone and Coinbase have teamed up to collaborate with 12 artists for a major NFT drop. The magazine company has been absent from the Super Bowl for two years, and now it is returning through its “Rolling Stone Live” event.
It will be a star-studded stage with big names on the guest list. It will offer unforgettable fan experiences and promise to be packed with musical performances. The “Rolling Stone Live” will turn up the heat before the final big game.
Los Angeles Magazine mentioned that Rolling Stone has always been present at Super Bowl week, but it was not able to participate in the last two years. With its comeback, it will offer A-list stages featuring some of the biggest performers in the music scene.
The event will also mark the start of the partnership with the cryptocurrency exchange platform, Coinbase, and Rolling Stone. They will be working together to mint exclusive NFTs that will be released as a limited drop for users of the Coinbase Wallet, according to Rolling Stone,
Some time, later this year, the original designs will be animated and will be sold on Coinbase’s NFT marketplace. The digital assets will give fans a chance to own a piece of history made by some of the most influential artists specializing in the crypto space.
The artists that will be part of the Rolling Stone and Coinbase NFT drop include Deadfellaz, who has a collection of 10,000 Ethereum blockchain-minted NFTs. The designs are from over 400 illustrations of tattoos, piercings, outfits, and more.
Elise Swopes will also be part of the collaborative NFT project of Rolling Stone and Coinbase. She is known for creating digital art by juxtaposing nature and urban landscapes.
The other artists are the Boss Beauties, graphic designer and 3D artist KidEight, MikeGrillMadeIt, MarkTheHabibi, Domino, the Giant Swan, Alida Sun, Jeff Manning, who has already worked with major brands such as Adidas and 20th Century Fox, Mister Goldie, and Emonee LaRussa, an Emmy-award-winning motion graphic artist.
These are the creators of the designs for the Rolling Stone and Coinbase NFTs. their works will be dropped ahead of the Super Bowl LVI.
