The UA students tried their best to stop Gigantomachia from reaching the city since it is a highly-populated area. However, their efforts seem to have gone to waste as the giant villain has made his way to the city, so it won’t be long until he meets his master Tomura Shigaraki in the upcoming “My Hero Academia” chapter 284.
Present Mic explained that Gigantomachia only lives for his master and he is very much willing to die for him as well. In this case, the giant is serving Tomura so he will do everything to meet and protect him from the attacks of the pro-heroes.
Gigamantomachia’s path of destruction
In the previous “My Hero Academia” chapter 283, Gigantomachia continues to advance to the city and he actually set foot on it. He left big destruction along the path he took on his way to where Shigaraki is.
Fortunately, most of the UA students are safe but they were horrified with the damages left by Gigantomachia. With what they are seeing, they felt fear since the giant’s reunion with Shigaraki will mean massive trouble. In any case, Majestic assisted the shocked students so they can move to a safer place by using his Quirk.
Apparently, the sedative that they gave Gigantomachia is still not working as it should. Still, the students are hoping it will start to take effect at some point so they can incapacitate the giant and Tomura will have no use for him.

So much have happened prior to the giant’s arrival in the city and many were injured as well. In
“My Hero Academia” chapter 284, fans will see what happens to Eraserhead who cut his legs off after Tomura shot him with a Quirk-destroying bullet.
At this point, Tomura has the All for One Quirk so the heroes must be more alert or they will lose in the battle. “My Hero Academia” chapter 284 will show Deku facing off with Shigaraki and vowed to destroy the villain.
Deku will continue using his Nana Shimura’s Quirk: Float after realizing that the villain has trouble keeping up with All For One’s phenomenal power. Also, Deku will save everyone from Tomura’s Decay Quirk by using his Blackwhip.
Release date
There is a bit of delay for the upcoming episode of this manga. As per Otakukart “My Hero Academia” chapter 284 will be posted on Crunchyroll on Sept. 18. It just shifted to Friday release schedule this month but will be back on its spot later.
