Endeavor and Tomura Shigaraki are back in the scenes as their fight continues. Previously, their battle was not shown because the chapters were focused on Gigantomachia and the league of villains as they try to reach the city and meet with their “Liberator” as the refer Shigaraki.
Now the most powerful personalities in the heroes and villains’ sides are back in "My Hero Academia" chapter 282. The developments in the story are not good because the heroes lost another one of their pro-hero allies in the hands of Shigaraki.
Recap
Last week in “My Hero Academia" chapter 281 titled “Plus Ultra,” Shigaraki was already gravely injured due to Endeavor’s attacks on him. However, when he tried to attack the villain one more time, Shigaraki was able to move and dodge which really surprised Endeavor.
He tries to figure out how Shigaraki was still able to move in his state. At this point, Gran Torino sensed that Endeavor’s fire blast has already weakened as well so he tackled Tomura to the ground.
Unexpectedly, Tomura grabbed one of Gran Torino’s leg and crushed it before banging him to the ground. Endeavor, Izuku Midoriya and Bakugo saw this and rushed to save their friend but Shigaraki never stops punching Gran Torino until he died.
Midoriya was shocked and they noticed that Shigaraki is regaining his strength plus his movements become swifter. From behind, Midoriya held Shigaraki’s neck and with his built-up rage, after Gran Torino died, he tightly bound him using his Black Whip quirk.
Endeavor told Midoriya to hold the villain tightly so he can hit him with more power and eventually beat Shigaraki up. Midoriya then told Tpmura he could not forgive him for what he did to his teacher. At this point, Shigaraki’s power is decreasing once again.
Spoilers and release date
With the upcoming “My Hero Academia” chapter 282, Endeavor and Shigaraki are expected to continue their fight. Of course, Deku will not leave Tomura alone after all he did.
It will be interesting to see what Tomura’s next action would be as he seems to be cornered now with his powers also depleting. The villain needs to defeat the heroes or he will never make it out alive.
“My Hero Academia” chapter 282 has been scheduled to be released on Aug. 30, as per Otakukart. There is no scheduled delay so the raw scans may also arrive by Aug. 27.
