The previous chapter of the manga reminded readers that One-For-All is not the simple strength-enhancing Quirk that it appeared since the start. As a power that accumulates other abilities and increases in potency every time it is passed down, there is a lot about it that even All Might didn’t know. In “My Hero Academia” Chapter 211, the Quirk could even betray Midoriya.
With the events in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 211 being something that fans have been looking forward to since the practice matches arc, Deku’s situation is a cause of grave concern. He is about to fire off a long-range attack against a fellow student, after all. While this would not normally have been a problem, his Quirk is currently acting up in unexpected ways.
Wreathed in a sinister black stream of energy that appears to stem from his arm, if Midoriya chooses to fire the shot he is readying, it could lead to devastating consequences. It could even result in death in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 211, which would certainly be problematic for the budding hero. As to why One-For-All is suddenly on the fritz, no one really knows the reason.
By his own admission, All Might has never seen the visions that Deku has been having. In the previous chapter, Gran Torino did say that Shigaraki Nana experienced something similar. However, that revelation came with the foreboding part about a shadowy figure hidden within the Quirk. It would seem that this figure has chosen to finally reveal itself and the consequences will be seen in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 211.
It’s quite unlikely that Midoriya will cause any major harm in “My Hero Academia” Chapter 211 once the chapter releases. Even so, fans will want to keep an eye out for it when it comes out on Dec. 24.
