‘Money Heist’ season 5: Renewal update, plot, cast and everything we know so far

“Money Heist” season 5 is anticipated and fans want it as soon as the fourth season was released. Plus, people want to have it as soon as possible because the turn of events is getting more interesting.

Will Netflix renew the drama

While there is no official announcement yet with regards to “Money Heist” season 5 renewal, What’s on Netflix noted that it is expected to receive a “go signal” from the leading streaming provider. This is because the series is so popular around the world even if it is being filmed in Spanish.

Moreover, it should be renewed since the story is obviously not finished yet. There are still a lot to be addressed before it could wrap up properly. Besides, it is only starting to get more interesting as new characters are coming in and the direction of the plot seems to be moving to a new direction too.

What’s more, it was already mentioned by Alex Pina, “La Casa de Papel” creator, that they have plans to continue and doing “Money Heist” season 5 is next in their agenda. He admitted though that he has not heard from Netflix yet, but getting hints that they will receive a renewal order.

“Someone knows there will be a fifth season, but we don't," he told ABC, a Spanish publication. “There were discussions about it but there is no official decision as of this time.”

Cast and plot predictions

“Money Heist” season 5 will be returning with new cast members and they are expected to fill the void that was left by some characters who have died in the third and fourth seasons. There is a theory that more people in the drama will meet their death in the next drama installment and may even include a major character.

Nairobi (Alba Flores) already died in the fourth season and it is the same with Roberto Garcia (Oslo), Berlin (Pedro Alonso) and Moscow (Paco Tous). As per Express, reported that the viewers are predicting the death of El Professor (Alvaro Morte) in “Money Heist” season 5. One of the new characters who joined the cast is Manila and she is being played by Belen Cuesta.

Meanwhile, fans have to wait for announcements regarding “Money Heist” season 5’s release date on Netflix. There is a prediction that it will arrive some time in 2021.
