Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker already ended their six-month relationship recently. Although the news just came out this week, no one can say when they exactly called it quits. With the split, there are rumors that the two-time Grammy awardee ended it because the Turnpike Troubadours singer broke her rules.
Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker were first rumored to be dating in July, after they were pictured together walking hand in hand. Around that time, Evan Felker was revealed to have just separated from his wife, Staci Nelson, so there were also nasty speculations that accused “The House That Built Me” singer of being a homewrecker.
In any case, it seems that Miranda Lambert did not break up with Evan because of the accusations that she caused his divorce. There was another reason and it is said the singer decided to split up with her boyfriend because there were things that he did which she did not like.
“I don't think it was a dramatic split, but he knew what he was 'allowed' to do based on her rules and he broke them,” an insider reportedly told People. “He did something that he knew she wasn't going to approve of, she assumed he did it and he didn't deny it.”
Now, what exactly he did that turned Miranda off was not mentioned. And while this allegation is still not confirmed, the couple has surely parted ways. In fact, Miranda Lambert revealed it herself.
In her recent chat with The Tennessean, she relayed that she is single and happy. She added that although some of her past experiences hurt, she is still thankful for those “ups and downs” because she learned.
“Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs,” she told the paper. “You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”
