The life of Meghan Markle has become undoubtedly more complicated since becoming part of the royal family and it is only going to get harder from here on out. Recent reports suggest that the former “Suits” actress was in for a “Baptism of Fire” with her upcoming international tour. Speaking of “Suits,” the TV dad of the Duchess of Sussex recently had something to say to her real dad.
Speaking to The Mirror, a former spokesperson for the palace, Dickie Arbiter, said that the tour is going to be hell for Meghan Markle. To use his words, it is apparently going to be a “baptism by fire” due to the pressure and packed schedule that the Duchess will be facing.
"She’s a good communicator, she’s good at talking to people but it will be a real baptism of fire," Dickie said. "They will have a very demanding schedule and the Duchess will have to get used to local customs with the eyes of the world on her. But no doubt she will come through with flying colors and they will show they will be a force of good for the Commonwealth and the Royal Family on the global stage."
Such an ordeal should have already been made clear to Meghan Markle, who would have more than likely been briefed of what to expect the moment she married Prince Harry. On that note, her relationship with her father might be the bigger issue she did not anticipate. By all accounts, the two were quite close before the royal wedding.
On this matter, actor Wendell Pierce who plays the father of Meghan Markle in “Suits” as Robert Zane has a message to Thomas Markle, The Telegraph reports. The actor simply told Mr. Markle to love his daughter as he should.
“If you love your daughter, just love your daughter. It’s not for public consumption,” Wendell Pierce said.
