Kraft Heinz is introducing a pioneering Iced Latte with Foam under its Maxwell House brand. This innovative coffee product seeks to rejuvenate the once-popular brand while offering a cafe-style coffee experience at home that appeals to Gen Z consumers.
This powdered iced latte offers a cafe-style coffee that can be enjoyed at home. With this first-of-its-kind innovation in almost a decade, Maxwell House transforms the at-home coffee experience and brings it to another level.
According to CNBC, Kraft Heinz is looking to revive its Maxwell House coffee brand by launching this innovative Iced Latte with Foam. It was mentioned that Maxwell House used to be the top coffee brand in the United States, but it has. Unfortunately, its popularity declined recently as more people changed their coffee-drinking habits.
These days, many people have shifted to using espresso coffee machines, cold brew makers, and French presses for their coffee intake at home. And this is why Kraft Heinz hopes that Maxwell House's new instant Iced Latte with Foam will help bring the brand's name back in most homes today.
Moreover, since Maxwell House is an old name in the market, Kraft Heinz plans to revive it by appealing to the Gen Z population or younger consumers. Trendy coffee shops are popular, and many youngsters love to hang out there, so the new iced latte, which is also the first new coffee product to be launched by Maxwell in almost a decade, is being seen as something that can make the brand stand out in the American coffee segment again.
"As iced beverages continue to rise in coffee shops, this opens a huge opportunity to continue the growth of cold in the coffee aisle at grocery stores," Kraft Heinz's director of marketing and coffee innovation, Sweta Kannan, said in a press release. "Our never-before-seen cold-stirred foam technology will allow coffee lovers to save the time and money of going to a coffee shop, and instead inspire them to unleash their inner barista by providing an easy-to-make café style experience with every sip in three simple steps."
Maxwell House's Iced Latte with Foam was officially launched on July 26 and is now available in grocery stores in the U.S. All three flavors - Caramel, Hazel Nut, and Vanilla - are sold in a pack of 6 sachets for $6.99.
