Major League Baseball (MLB) has signed a multi-year agreement covering the US and Canada making Distill Brands International (DBI) products its ‘official vodka.’
Through the multi-year relationship, Distill will be able to promote its vodka products on all of the league's digital and television platforms, including MLB Network and the league website.
A bundle of marketing and activation rights for MLB's high-profile events, such as All-Star Week and the World Series, as well as the usage of MLB promotional displays in retail spaces, have also been acquired by DBI.
California, Florida, and New York will be the first three states to implement this branding before it is more widely implemented throughout North America.
According to Noah Garden, chief revenue officer at MLB, DBI is a great addition to their lineup of official sponsors due to their breadth of creativity and experience in the industry.
