Hollywood fans have been reading reports in the previous weeks that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have already broken up. Despite not directly addressing these rumors, the reported couple had the perfect response as they welcomed the spring season together in New York City.
Holmes and Foxx were photographed together while taking a stroll in the streets of NYC earlier this week. A source of E! News said they are still a couple and there seems to be no issue in the horizon. “They see each other privately and in a low key way that is out of the public eye. Everything is the same with them. She's happy with him,” the insider added.
Last month, rumors started to fly that Foxx and Holmes are no longer together. This was after a source of Us Weekly said the “Robin Hood” actor confirmed it himself to a group of peers while attending an Oscars party for charity. “It was very nonchalant,” the insider said. “While he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line ‘I’m single.’”
The photos that circulated this week was the first time Holmes and Foxx were seen together following the breakup rumors. However, it is also important to note that the “Dawson’s Creek” alum spent time with the “Django Unchained” star right before the New Year’s in a romantic getaway in Miami.
Holmes and Foxx’s decision to keep their relationship on the down low, unfortunately, does not stop several tabloids from running stories about them supposedly breaking up. In 2018, Radar Online reported that the actress decided to end the relationship because of trust issues. But this was later dismissed by her representative.
Rumors of Holmes and Foxx dating can be traced back to almost six years ago. However, it was only somewhat confirmed when a photo of them holding hands while walking on a beach in Malibu was published in 2017. But their decision not to publicly discuss their relationship and flaunt it to the paparazzi is obviously still in place.
