Katie Holmes is reportedly in love with her ex-boyfriend Chris Klein once again. It was claimed that because of the lingering feelings, the pair have decided to rekindle their romance.
Katie’s renewed interest in her former fiance
In a new article that was published on New Idea, a story titled “Katie Holmes and Chris Klein Reunited,” it was claimed that while on lockdown in her family home in Toledo, Ohio, Suri Cruise’s mom passed the time by watching movies on Netflix. In doing so, it was suggested that she came across films that star her ex-fiance and this made her interested in him again.
“Katie’s found herself binge-watching plenty of TV and she got the surprise of her life when she realized Chris, who she was her first true love, is in this new show,” the source supposedly told the magazine. “She got hooked quickly, and it didn’t escape her that Chris has only gotten more handsome and as he’s gotten older.”
It was added that Katie Holmes has been giving more attention to Chris Klein’s scenes in “Sweet Magnolias” and she’s hooked. Now, she wants him back.
Katie’s moves to get his attention
It was said that Suri’s mom started sending friendly text messages to Chris. She started by saying that she really likes his show but it was alleged that people around them want the two to give their relationship a second chance now that they have matured.
The former couple was in a relationship for five years and they were engaged for two years. Unfortunately, they called it quits in 2005 and not long after this, the “Dawson’s Creek” star got engaged and married Tom Cruise.
The truth
This story appears to be not making sense so to be certain, the popular fact-checking site, Gossip Cop, started its own investigation to reveal the truth. It pointed out that the suggestion that Katie Holmes fell in love again with Chris Klein after watching him in a sitcom doesn’t make sense.
And finally, it reached out to the actress’ representative and it was proven that they are correct in assuming that this is a made-up story. Holme’s spokesperson directly told GC that this is a false report.
