Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have yet to publicly discuss their relationship. However, they have been spotted together on dates and romantic walks more frequently in recent months. But the reports that they are at odds for various reasons do not stop.
Most recently, a report claimed the relationship of Holmes and Foxx is on the rocks after he purchased a house purportedly worth $1.7 million for his ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis. Foxx and Grannis have a 10-year-old daughter together named Annalise.
Radar Online even reported that Holmes’ friends are not a fan of Foxx, especially after the house purchase. The same report claimed that Holmes’ 12-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, does not favor the “Robin Hood” actor either. A source said, “Suri is old enough to understand a lot of things — and she doesn’t like being part of Jamie’s endless party parade. She resents the way Katie drops everything when Jamie calls. Suri liked it better when it was just her and Katie.”
Moreover, other reports were also interpreting Foxx’s move for Grannis as a sign they are getting close to each other again subsequently implying that he is not entirely committed to Holmes. For one, the National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop) tabloid claimed Holmes and Cruise have been upset since Foxx bought the property with an insider phrasing it as the actor “playing the part of a happy family man with another woman and child of almost the same age.” However, considering the fact that Foxx has a daughter with Grannis him buying a house for them to live in is not at a totally wild idea.

Ultimately, the best way for Foxx and Holmes to shut down these rumors is to publicly prove the world that they are happy together in their relationship. It can be recalled that the actress recently went out with her boyfriend and his eldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, in California. And just earlier this week, the two were once again seen in on a stroll while sporting big smiles and holding each other’s hands in New York City.
