Katie Holmes visited Paris to celebrate Suri Cruise’s 13th birthday. The actress allegedly went all-out and spent at least $200,000 to give the best and most luxurious celebration for her daughter while dad Tom Cruise is busy preparing for his upcoming “Mission Impossible” movie.
According to Australia’s Woman’s Day, Katie flew with Suri, and two of her friends to Paris and their trip reached six digits in US dollars. Based on the report, the break down of the expenses include first-class flight tickets, five-star hotel accommodations, and expensive dinners, lunches, and snacks for everyone.
“It was every teenage girl’s dream come true,” the tipster told WD. The source added that while Suri is growing up in luxury, Katie tries to teach her not to take things for granted, so the special trip was very much appreciated by the teener.
While Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise travel to celebrate the latter’s birthday, Tom Cruise’s whereabouts are on the set of “Mission Impossible.” As per Radar Online, the actor is currently preparing for his new movie, and since he is so dedicated to the project, he even requires all the staff to get in shape for the filming as well.
“Tom likes everyone he works with to be fit and healthy, whether they like it or not!,” the insider told Radar. “It’s important to him that the entire cast and crew has the energy required to make these big blockbusters.”
With that said, it is clear that Tom did not spend a day with Suri even if it was her 13th birthday already. The actor is busy, but then, no one knows if he greeted his daughter as she officially becomes a teenager.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop debunked the report that Katie Holmes spent $200,000 for Suri Cruise’s birthday in Paris. It was the actress’ representative who told GC that the alleged expenses for the trip are simply crazy. The actress is wealthy but not in the position to be able to spend this sum just for a weekend.
