This series revolves around the cat-and-mouse game between Kaguya and Miyuki. They are the best students in their school because of their leadership and academic skills. It appears, however, that pride comes with those traits. They both know they like each other, but they are resolved in not being the first one to confess because that would show inferiority. This will-they-won’t-they tale is what fans can expect should “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2 is confirmed.
The new season will likely start with the protagonists starting a new semester as well. If the anime will not skip any chapters at the beginning of “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2, fans will watch Kaguya and Miyuki pick their elective classes. However, this is not a simple task for them. They have to figure out a way to choose the same elective class without asking one another because that would be too close to confessing their true feelings.

He wants to be the first one to write his elective classes but fails to do so because he is secretly trying to figure out what Kaguya’s choices are. Miyuki tries to apply the process of elimination, but Kaguya outsmarts him by pretending she already chose her elective classes. This forces Miyuki to write what he thinks is Kaguya’s most possible answers.
Kaguya wins the first battle of “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2 when Miyuki leaves the room, and it is revealed that she has not actually chosen a class yet. With Miyuki gone, Kaguya peeks on his elective class form and copies his answer. But Miyuki will still end up thinking that it was he who practically copied Kaguya’s answer.

The above-mentioned sequence of events is a good way to open “Kaguya-Sama: Love is War” season 2. Unfortunately, the fate of the anime series is still uncertain. It is apparent that many fans are hoping to see more manga chapters be adapted to anime, but no official announcement has been made so far. Therefore, expecting the series to return within the next year is still a longshot.
