Jungkook is one of the members of BTS and he seems to be the most interested when it comes to tattoos. In fact, it appears that he is the only one in his group who got inked with big designs although he tries to conceal them most of the time.
He also has the most number of inks and fans observed that he got new ones recently. Now since Jungkook’s inks are not fully exposed, fans can only get glimpses of them when BTS is filming for their reality show or when they go live on social media or V Live.
What do Jungkook’s arm tattoos mean?
Since fans are highly interested in the BTS member’s inks, they carefully inspected the exposed part of his right arm and fans claimed they figured what the tattoos say or symbolize. The ARMYs took close-up screenshots from the group’s “ON” music video that was unveiled on Feb. 27.
They managed to “see” the designs and after days of inspection, fans got the full picture of Jungkook’s body art. Based on one of the assessments, the visible three lines appear to be part of the Korean flag while the initials “REA” could mean Korea with the Korean national flower. There are also suggestions that it is a tiger flower that represents Sept. 1, the 21-year-old’s birthday.
The motto written through tattoo
They also spotted Jungkook’s body art where words were written vertically and another one horizontally but they were joined by a common letter at the lower part. Fans shared that they are mottos and screenshots showed that they read “Rather be dead than cool” and “Make hay while the sun shines.”
The ARMYs noted that the horizontal wordings are actually part of Nirvana’s 1991 song lyrics for “Stay Away.” They said that Jungkook really loves that line and he mentioned this a lot of times in the past already.
Fans are in awe as to the meaning of Jungkook’s tattoo because it proved that he is really a hardworking person who will grab the opportunities and work hard for success. This was apparently what the youngest BTS member is doing right now that no wonder his group is now famous around the world.
