Jungkook is BTS’ youngest member, so he is fondly called the ‘maknae’ in Korean. His popularity is no joke that he could even be considered as the group’s most popular member. His ‘hyungs’ (older members) actually think so too after seeing him grow from a boy to man.
BTS has been making big waves in the entertainment scene worldwide, and their guesting in various TV shows in the U.S. and other countries is a proof that they had come a long way from the time when they debuted as rookies in 2013. And these days, wherever they go, Jungkook seems to shine more although everyone in the team has their own huge followers as well.
Not long ago, the BTS members acknowledged that Jungkook is the team’s “golden maknae,” and they all agreed that it is because there is nothing he cannot do. Instead, he just keeps improving and always do his best in any task. In an interview, the members shared their admiration for their youngest and didn’t run out of things to say about him, plus they referred to him as their precious youngest.
BTS’ leader, RM, said that he already said a lot of times that Jungkook is good at everything and that could be why he always shines. J-Hope agreed and stated that he is really good at everything he does and is very talented. He added that their youngest’s visuals and vocals are other things that made his so popular that is why he sometimes envy him in this regard.
"Usually when a person starts something, he starts from the bottom, but for Jungkook, he starts at an above average in everything," V said in the interview. “He can do well at drums because he has basic rhythm and he does amazing in beat-boxing, composing, lyric writing, and vocals for making videos. This is the kind of person he is - a person with extraordinary talent."
Meanwhile, Jungkook and the rest of the BTS members recently concluded their U.S. tour. According to Teen Vogue, at the last leg of their “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” tour, the group bid goodbye to their American and they can’t help but shed some tears. They were touched by their support, and they promised to return and meet them in the future again.
