There is no doubt that Jungkook is currently one of the hottest performers in the world, along with his group mates in BTS. However, despite his undeniable stardom, it would appear that the South Korean star has not abandoned his sense of humility as many celebrities often do. In the group’s concert in the UK, he actually apologized for being unable to perform in his best condition previously due to an injury.
For some context, Jungkook injured his heel last year while set to perform in the UK, Metro reports. As a result, while the rest of BTS danced and sang, the youngest members had to do his part while sitting down. This was certainly not an issue for his fans and ARMY, in general, but it would seem that the performer still could not help but feel guilty about it.
As a result, during the BTS London performance, Jungkook told fans how sorry he was that he was not “being himself” in their last visit. Along with his apology is his promise to give it his best this time around and truly give the fans the show that they deserve.
“I feel so sorry for the Europe tour. I felt guilty because I could not fully show my performance,” Jungkook said. “But I am now happy as I could finally show my real self.”
Suffice it to say, this gesture only earned Jungkook even more accolades from fans that he was already receiving. This is obvious enough to anyone who visits social media and looks through any mention of the BTS member.
This is proof that Jungkook is a star who thinks about his fans as more than just a stepping stone to success. He recognizes that he owes all that he is to the adoring crowds that he performs to and understands how he should value their role in his life.
