It was obviously unlikely for Yuji to remain dead after Sukuna took over his body, and “Jujutsu Kaisen” episode 6 should reveal how he comes back to life. His revival will not happen without some help from Sukuna, though.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ episode 6 spoilers: Yuji wakes up but Gojo has other plans
Sukuna previously took over Yuji’s body leading to a fight with Megumi. Yuji managed to reclaim his body, but since Sukuna ripped his heart out earlier, he immediately falls to the ground dead. His death seemed even more real when the doctor Shoko Ieiri arrived supposedly to perform an autopsy. However, the following events in the manga confirm that Yuji will survive.
The montage of upcoming “Jujutsu Kaisen” episode 6 scenes confirm that the anime will soon cover the interaction between Yuji and Sukuna in the latter’s Innate Domain. Sukuna will explain that this is only possible because they are still alive. The two will exchange blows, but Sukuna easily overpowers Yuji.
Sukuna will suggest in “Jujutsu Kaisen” episode 6 that he will fix Yuji’s heart if the aspiring jujutsu sorcerer under some conditions. He proposes a pact that entails allowing Sukuna to take over Yuji’s body for a full minute when he chants “Enchain” and that Yuji will forget about this agreement. Yuji is understandably hesitant even when Sukuna promises not to kill or hurt anyone while he is in control. But Sukuna tells him that they are entering a “binding vow” and that he will be punished if he betrays Yuji.
While Yuji and Sukuna negotiate in the Innate Domain, Gojo tells Ijichi that his dream is to reset the jujutsu world. While it would be easier to kill the higher-ups that disgust him, he hopes to see long-term changes and plans to do it by training “strong and intelligent allies.” Gojo then thinks about the promising Jujutsu High students, including Yuji. It should also be at this point in “Jujutsu Kaisen” episode 6 where Yuji’s physical body wakes up.
‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ episode 6 release date, where to watch
In a private conversation, Gojo will ask Ieiri not to change Yuji’s death records so he will not become a target again. He plans on hiding Yuji while training him and prepare him in time for the Kyoto Goodwill Event. “Jujutsu Kaisen” episode 6 will be released on Saturday, Nov. 7. There is a simulcast on Crunchyroll and VRV for viewers in the United States.
