Earlier this year, rumors that Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel had started dating again spread like wildfire. But, recently, another report made claims to debunk these speculations.
The rumors that Garner and Duhamel started dating emerged when they both starred in the film “Love, Simon,” which was released earlier this year. They played parents to the titular character, Simon Spier (Nick Robinson), namely Emily Spier and Jack Spier.
Apart from playing onscreen husband and wife, Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel were both coming from very recent marital splits from their respective spouses, Ben Affleck and Fergie. These situations were easily taken advantage of by reports claiming that the two were moving on with help from one another.
On Wednesday, news site Gossip Cop published a report claiming that a representative of Jennifer Garner confirmed to them that all the reports about the actress dating Josh Duhamel are not true. Furthermore, the same report pointed out that the tabloid claims were very inaccurate, phrasing that Garner and Duhamel were back together when, in fact, the two did not have a relationship prior.
It can also be recalled that Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel repeatedly denied these dating rumors months ago. While on a press tour for “Love, Simon,” both Hollywood celebs were direct in addressing these rumors. For one, Duhamel said (via Entertainment Tonight) last March, “I laugh at it [the rumors]. Jen is an amazing catch. She deserves somebody far better than me."
Jennifer Garner got separated from her ex-husband of 10 years, Ben Affleck, in 2015 but only filed for divorce in 2017. In the same year, Josh Duhamel and Fergie also announced their separation after 13 years of marriage through a joint statement.
As for Garner, she appears to be keeping herself busy with projects as well as attending to mom duties. Just a few days ago, the “Alias” actress shared a funny photo of her carrying more stuff than she could literally handle and showing how messy her car becomes having three children around.
