Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were together for seven years and married for three. However, because of differing lifestyles and city preferences, the couple decided to part ways.
But before they did, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux decided to meet for the last time, on Valentine’s Day. While details about what was discussed during the breakup remain unknown, it’s safe to assume that it mainly focused on their relationship and why they needed to break up.
The following day, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux announced their separation to the disappointment of their fans. The “Friends” alum initially wanted to make their split as private as they could make it but eventually conceded to the “Leftover” actor wanting to make it public.
During the announcement, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux made it crystal clear that even though they were breaking up, they would still remain friends. However, Woman’s Day (via Gossip Cop) is now claiming that the amicable split has devolved into something unpleasant.
As the tabloid would have it, Jennifer Aniston is allegedly trying to make Justin Theroux jealous and is using her “Murder Mystery” co-star Adam Sandler to accomplish what she wants. The publication takes note of Aniston and Sandler holding hands together in Milan, speculating that something might be brewing between the two.
But given that Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler are playing a couple in their Netflix film, this claim is hilariously inaccurate. Of course, the two would hold hands given that they’re shooting a film of them being married. Aniston was not trying to make Justin Theroux jealous. The actress was simply doing her job.
Aside from the jealousy angle, the gossip outlet is also purporting that Justin Theroux is frustrated that Jennifer Aniston is doing so well in the entertainment industry while he can’t even land a role. This, too, is also incorrect since the “Leftover” actor has been cast by Netflix to co-star in its “Manic” series.
Justin Theroux is set to star alongside Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. Meanwhile, now that production has wrapped up for Jennifer Aniston’s “Murder Mystery,” the actress is slated to film her next movie, “First Ladies.”
