“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 may be shaking things up for the upcoming season premiere with exciting news about the season's launch as well as some sneak peeks at current production from Peter M. Lenkov, the show's executive producer.
Does this teaser picture mean bad tidings for the duo come season 9? With rumors about Alex O'Loughlin looking towards exiting the acclaimed tropical procedural, should a hospital scene in season 9 mean either Steve McGarrett or Danny Williams will be getting a drastic change in his lifestyle choices? Or has Alex O'Loughlin committed to stay on the show?
Lenkov also tweeted about the season once again receiving a traditional Hawaiian blessing coinciding with “Hawaii Five-0's” season 9 launch. This is something the show has not had since season 7's own traditional Hawaiian blessing.

The Instagram picture the link leads to has since been taken down by the original poster.
Lenkov has also shared a picture of former NFL Quarterback Vince Ferragamo with the description that hints at a potential cameo by the NFL superstar.
The photo's description also comes with the hashtag “3,” which may hint at Ferragamo's cameo appearing in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9's third episode. Information on whether Ferragamo will be playing as himself, a new established character, or will be simply appearing in a limited capacity in the background has not been released. It seems that fans will have to wait for season 9 to start before we get more details on the role Ferragamo will be playing in “Hawaii Five-0.”
With all the excitement about how the show's most recent cast additions from season 8, Tani Rey and Junior Reigns, will be developing in season 9, an explosive cameo by the ex-NFL Quarterback, a renewed season blessing, and more exciting moments for the show's iconic McGarrett-Williams pair, fans will not be disappointed when Season 9 comes rolling into town. “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 is set to premiere on Sept. 28.
